1. Impressions of your online distribution
I was disappointed that my solo exhibition at this March was postponed indefinitely by this coronavirus disaster.
But I learned through participating in this online program #KeepgoingTOGETHER,
It is possible to show my works flexibly by changing the viewpoint in this difficult situation.
I could know many various artists through this program and many other artist’s programs and their works cheered me.
It was fun that I discussed my works with people who watched my works online.
I realized that responses and feedbacks are directly and speedy online. I think going forward such online art programs will actively increase.
2. Fruition and Challenge Acquired through Online Activities
I felt closer to the viewers than I thought because of the free accessibility to my online works and the speed of their responses and feedbacks. It was a good surprise for me.
But, It is difficult to show the correct color, brightness, contrast, texture, aura and presence of the photograph.
It is not good and boring to watch my video work by a small computer, smartphone, or tablet. (It is better to watch my video work by a large monitor or a screen)
I keep thinking about what are good ways of show and exhibition. Both the real exhibition and the online exhibition have an advantage, good points.
3. Utilization and Development of Online Live Streaming for Forthcoming Activities
After this online program, I am more interested in online activities and coming up with some ideas. Going forward such online art activities will increase in society, so I am going to develop my activities more.
・ Online talk session (some artist’s discussion and debate about their artworks and so many topics by using Zoom.)
・ Exhibition nobody in it (Exhibiting arts in the gallery, the studio or their own room, then shooting video and streaming. Everywhere can become the exhibition space and see that exhibition everywhere.)
・ Online explanation of photo books (Shooting my photo books each page and commenting on those photographs and explaining the stories.)
And so forth.
