Sibiu International Theatre Festival- Japan Season
As it is already known ECOC is a cultural project aimed at citizens, artists and cultural operators and those who use their creativity skills in many sectors of the society developing in particular links between culture, education, tourism, etc. In addition to these aspects, during the festival we can mention the volunteer program who is essential to encouraging the exchange of good practices in terms of performing arts volunteering. This Program includes international volunteers each year. FITS collaborates with a number of partners for their recruitment, such as European Capitals of Culture or Eu-Japan Fest. Through the latter, during the 10 years of partnership, over 130 young Japanese people came to Sibiu and contributed to the organization of the festival.
