I attended a meeting with the Mayor of Novi Sad. He is 46 years old, full of energy, and already has a lot of experience. The European Capital of Culture in 2021 which he has been preparing for 10 years, will be at the forefront of the city’s challenge. He has high expectations for cooperation with Japan when it comes to global development. When I told him that inheritance to the next generations is crucial and I am looking forward to seeing what would happen ten years later, he nodded in agreement.
