Yayoi Kusama receives the Order of Culture on Nov. 3, a Japanese national holiday to promote culture. The Order of Culture is one of the highest honors bestowed by the Imperial Family. The award is conferred to those who have significantly advanced science, the arts or culture. Kusama showed her installation works in Lille 2004, Marseille-Provence 2013, and Liverpool 2008. She will provide her work to a project the Garden organized by ARoS in the frame work of Aarhus2017.
