The 7th edition of the Theatre Olympics
The Theatre Olympics is an international theatre festival, presenting the achievements of the most outstanding authors from all over the world. From the 14th of October to the 13th of November, Wroclaw in Poland will turn into an international capital of theatre as part of the European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016. The idea for the festival was originally proposed by Theodoros Terzopoulos, who established the Theatre Olympics together with the Founders’ Committee in 1993 in Delphi. This year, the festival was inaugurated by The Trojan Women – a legendary Greek tragedy by Tadashi Suzuki, a world famous director and one of the founders of the festival!
