From 18-27 Dec., 2015, the Takamatsu Media Art Festival in Japan will take place in Takamatsu city, Kagawa prefecture。This is the fist edition of the festival, and they collaborate with Ars Electronica in Linz, Austria. In competition, So Kanno +yang02(Maribor2012, Guimaraes2012) won the best award and art unit h.o (Linz2009) won Tarumi award. Congratulations! The festival general director/curator is Naohiro Ukawa who is from Takamatsu, and competition juries are Daito Manabe, Jung-Yeon Ma, Hiroyuki Tarumi and Gerfried Stocker , director of Ars Electronica.
