After the ECoC Sibiu2007, various cultural exchange between Romania and Japan has become more and more active e.g. theatre, music, photography and traditional culture. Ambassador of Romania to Japan, Mr. Radu Serban is an earnest Haikist, and have published four books about Haiku in Romanian and one book in English. The core of Haiku is to express one’s own philosophy of life with seasonal references. Its spirit is inherited to the world beyond Japan!
