Japan Craft Design Association (JCDA) is calling for entries for “the 56^th Japan Crafts Exhibition” that is taken place in Tokyo next January. JCDA has contributed to the popularization of contemporary crafts and design. They, for instance, had an exhibition called “From the Rising Sun” in the 2002 European Capital of Culture, Bruges. This upcoming exhibition allows artists, including students to submit artworks from various materials. Moreover, it is open to candidates, especially under 33 years old as their works are presented in another craft exhibition in Germany. The deadline of registration is on the 6th of October.
