The 20th Japan Media Arts Festival, divided into four sections; art, entertainment, animation and manga, gives artists not only awards, but also opportunities to exhibit their brand-new works of art. This integrated festival draws European Capital of Culture’s attention as new Japanese art scene. Besides artworks from Japan, international ones are warmly welcome, regardless professional, amateur, independent and commercial sources. The entry period is from July 7 to September 9 (18:00 Japan Standard Time).
