Dutch actor, Mr. Romke Gabe Draaijer has visited Japan to research Japanese puppetry at Iida Puppet Festa. He is now engaged in the discovery of puppetry after his graduation from college where he has learnt acting and directing. He thinks he wants to boost puppet festivals in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands for 2018(European Capital of Culture). Meeting with Ms. Tamiko Onagi, executive committee of UNIMA and manager of Puppet theatre PUK was fruitful experience for the possibility of future collaboration with Leeuwarden and Japan in puppetry.
