For “Migrating Ceramics” exhibition in 2018, a delegation from Arita had a meeting in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. This exhibition, focusing mainly on the connection between east and west, explores how ceramics from Asia, including Japan reached the rest of Europe via the Netherlands. In addition, a designer exchange program during the European Capital of Culture year is under way.
