Zerodate Art Exhibition in Oodate City, Akita Prefecture marks the 10th anniversary this year. Utilizing empty spaces in shopping streets, this exhibition enables visitors to enjoy a wide variety of works of art, including publicly sponsored exhibitions as well as music events. The organizer Zerodate Art Project supported photographers from Turku (Finland) and Tallinn (Estonia) who contributed to the project “European Eyes on Japan/ Japan Today vol. 13” corroborated with the European Capitals of Culture in 2011. They do keep encouraging cultural activities from international and local points of view. You can go visit this exhibition from 11 to 16 August.
