KENPOKU ART 2016: AKI INOMATA
There is only 20 days left until the closing of KENPOKU ART 2016! Among a hundred pieces of artists from all over the world, AKI INOMATA’s architectural art project shows strong presence. In her most famous work, Why Not Hand Over a “Shelter” to Hermit Crabs?, she used a 3D printer to create new shells that featured Manhattan and other world cityscapes, and observed hermit crabs moving into them. This work drew attention and was also chosen as leading motif for visual communication campaign at the exhibition in WRO Art Center, Wroclaw, Poland.
