Shows and workshops of Jiutamai, Japanese traditional dance, were shown by Ms. Tokijyo Hanasaki and her accompanists! This project was a part of Wroclaw 2016 held in 6/17-21. They created a new choreography works: they tried to adopt Japanese dance into Polish classical music (e.g. Chopin) and even into Polish folk music! Ms. Hanasaki said she selected such music in order to make it accessible for foreign audience and touch their heart. They conveyed the heart of Jiutamai with their innovative idea to Polish.
