Exhibition “Inner landscapes, Turku” comes at HAGISO, Yanaka Tokyo. This was a collaboration work among Japanese ceramic unit Satoko Sai＋Tomoko and Finnish photographer Marija Pirila. Based on the interviews with elderlies living in Turku, the memories of individuals and families are gradually linked together, being shared in remembrance of the town and their inhabitants. This was originally designed as one of the programs of Turku2011 (Finland, European Capital of Culture in 2011) and this is the first occasion to show it in Tokyo. They are preparing to make continued project “Inner Landscapes, Tokyo” in the following year. Date: 18 Oct. – 6 Nov. 2016
