This photography project has launched in 1999 to capture contemporary Japan by European photographer’s point of view. In this 19th edition, 1 photographer each from Turkish and Greek Cypriot is invited. Now Turkish Cypriot photographer Ergenc Mehmet Korkmazel is photographing in Shiga prefecture. We hope that this project could be an opportunity to encourage mutual understanding between Turkish and Greek Cypriot.
