European Capital of Culture 2015-2019 -Joint Presentation and Networking Event-
The expansion of the European Union has been accompanied by the increasing globalization of culture and the arts, and the European Capital of Culture (ECoC) festivities have grown to such a global scale of activities in culture and the arts as to enjoy the participation of over 100 countries and regions, including Japan. It has been 24 years that ECoC and Japan collaborate. This month, representatives of 9 European Capitals of Culture are to visit Tokyo and hold a presentation event.
