The play “Nichirin no Tsubasa” [The Wing of the Sun] directed by contemporary artist, Miwa Yanagi starts from 24th of July at the Kanagawa Arts Theatre. She caught a lot of participants’ attention when exhibiting her video installation, “Granddaughters” in a church. This work focused mainly on old women’s memories and records that they recalled their grandmothers. In this big project, the stage trailer she designed is wandering around Japan like characters in a novel written by Kenji Nakagami did.
