Welcome to The Village is a new wave of festival-music, food and art are mainly organized by participants in cooperation with a big group of young freelancers. The festival takes place close to Leeuwarden, European Capital of Culture in 2018. Last year, residual materials were used to design a stage and ingredients for the festival were grown up in a city garden. In addition to the local perspectives, peculiar culture from the States of Friesland and global one from overseas have been combined together. The festival lasts three days from 15 to 17 July.
