ARoS Aarhus Art Museum is one of Europe’s largest art museums situated in the heart of Aarhus, European Capital of Culture 2017.

The art museum contains four large galleries and each of them shows special exhibitions with both national and international artist. The museum owns collections featuring work dated from 1770 until today including contemporary works by international artists such as Tony Oursler, Carsten Höller, James Turrell and Miwa Yanagi.The current exhibition is “A New Dynasty – Created in China” which is a Chinese view on China and a new monumental installation created for ARoS by Ai Weiwei. The curators of ARoS is to visit Japan for research travel this year.
