Volunteer members of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival (FITS) payed a courtesy call on the Romanian Embassy in Japan on 15 May. This year, 17 members from Japan and 15 international members will be engaged in the volunteer program. The Ambassador Ms. Tatiana Iosiper gave them a warm message saying “Please enjoy the festival.” Each member will support the festival as an “ambassador from Asia” with volunteer staffs from all over the world. —FITS has been considered as being the biggest theatre festival in Europe until recently with similar festivals in Avignon and Edinburgh. Last year, the festival gathered artists from 70 countries. This year, it takes place between June 9 and June 18.
