Starting in 1985, the European Capital of Culture (ECoC) has been held for 34 years. During the period, the world became globalized with the development of information technologies and the huge expansion of mobility of people.

EU-Japan Fest has supported each ECoC as an NGO from a standpoint of the global citizen for 27 years. We have witnessed successful examples in ECoCs which raised lofty ideals and contributed to the society locally and globally. This time, we will hold this joint presentation and networking event in cooperation with the Representation of the European Commission to Germany in Berlin!

At the event, current and future ECoC cities will present their programs to you. Also, you have a chance to appeal to your activity during the second part of the event. Indeed, each ECoC invites many artists from over 100 countries!
