Yoshi OIDA learned his art in Japan and has long
worked in the performing arts in Europe. His performance of "Interrogations"
in Aarhus, Denmark, queried the audience much the way that a Zen
master poses koan to a student. This fusion of Japanese Zen with
modes of expression that evolved in the West gave rise to dialogue
that plumbed the depths of the human heart.
