Oita

Japan-EU Friendship Soccer was held in Oita prefecture as part of Japan-EU@Friendship Week, an event promoting exchanges between Japan and Europe. Two teams formed of citizens of EU member countries resident in Japan, one of children and one of adults, held friendlies with Oita prefecture teams, and the members of the EU youth team experienced homestays with the families of the Oita youth team. This project was a sure opportunity for participants and soccer authorities and supporters to nurture friendship through soccer and to deepen Japan-European friendship.
