A collaboration and public art production project in food and contemporary art involving the Salon de Cinq French restaurant in Ginza, Tokyo, Izari in Tokushima, which has close ties with Salon de Cinq; and Taro Nasu Gallery, a prominent locus of contemporary art.
This program involved bringing to Tokyo the German contemporary artist Peter Pommerer and his production of wall drawings, as public works, at Izari and Salon de Cinq. Pommerer's wall drawings are preserved as his record of exchanges at Izari and Salon de Cinq. His work will last an opportunity for more people to become familiar with contemporary art.

Peter Pommerer, Germany
Born 1968. Works in Stuttgart, Germany. Known for his drawings of off-beat composition, Pommerer is one of the leading figures of the contemporary Germany art world. In the strong line of his brushstrokes, the resonance of his dazzling color interaction and the tension between the organic forms of split views and bleeding spreads on the one hand and the repeating detailed figures on the other, his linear energy contains an enthusiasm that overwhelms the five senses.

Salon de Cinq
A hideaway French restaurant in Higashi Ginza, known among certain circles and now approaching its tenth anniversary, Salon de Cinq employs produce delivered from throughout Japan that reveals the sentiments of its producers and seeks novel forms of communication with its patrons, as through its unattended produce markets. Salon de Cinq persists in the effort to translate into action its ideas on how the experience of plenty emerges from the experience of cuisine.
