Mingling dance, video, light and sound for multiple possibilities
Images of Asia / Leni-Basso dance company

Copenhagen, Aarhus (Denmark)

Leni-Basso has brought new life to the Japanese dance scene and joined in the Images of Asia project in Denmark. Evoking associations with the city of Tokyo through electric scenery, dizzying changes in music and video, and a series of movements rich in scripted coordination and improvisation, Leni-Basso performances employ four miniature cameras in a dynamic intersection of dance, video, light and sound. Drawing enthusiastic attention wherever they toured as a new turn in the performing arts of Asia, Leni-Basso enjoyed the acclamation of applause and stamping feet.
