This 13th International Month of Photography in Athens is a major month-long project, lasting September 18 to October 18, showcasing the range of European photographic arts in numerous museums and galleries in the city. The Month of Photography is to include, at separate venues, the work of the three photographers involved in European Eyes on Japan/Japan Today vol. 8. Their several perspectives on Japan should provide the people of Europe with a fresh and more familiar notion of the country as a society of people experiencing the same contemporary present as themselves.
