photographed in Luxembourg The tiny country of Luxembourg developed around a castle built on a hill and has a land area much the same as that of Kanagawa prefecture in Japan. Motoyama's beautiful black-and-white photographs depict ancient castles and old city centers silently awaiting the arrival of winter. |

photographed in Netherlands Motoyama collected his street snapshots of Holland walking through its principal cities, including Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht. The unassuming scenery and scenes from everyday life contain within them the distinctive atmosphere of the Netherlands. |
