Japan-Europe Contemporary Poetry Festival in Tokyo |
| Genoa, Italy and Lille, France, the 2004 Cultural Capitals of Europe, featured an international poetry festival, attended from Japan by the two poets Shoichiro Iwakiri and Kiwao Nomura. In response to that call, a festival of poetry by European and Japanese poets is to be held as a joint event at the Italian Institute of Culture in December 2005. The directors are the poets Claudio Pozzani and Kiwao Nomura. |
First, a Presentation! |
| In advance of the festival, we will welcome Mr. Pozzani to a presentation as detailed below. The audience will hear about the International Poetry Festival for which he has served as artistic director in Europe and about the December event in Tokyo. What is more, Mr. Pozzani and a Japanese poet will give poetry readings. By all means, please do attend! |
